Meghan Is A Celebrity Who Has Been Part of Royalty

Not everyone can dress like royalty. Most royalty have access to stylists, closets full of fine clothing, and designers on call. However, everyone can copy Meghan Markle’s simple yet sophisticated style, often wearing clothes that she may already have.

Here are five of Meghan’s most iconic looks that you can replicate with your current wardrobe.

Sporty Chic at Wimbledon

Meghan attended Wimbledon with her sister-in-law to support her friend, Serena Williams. However, Meghan’s sporty style attracted as many looks as the action on the court. She paired a blue and white striped Ralph Lauren shirt with white culottes.

You don’t need Ralph Lauren or another designer to replicate this style. Just grab whatever loose fitting collared striped shirt you have in your closet. Then pair it with high-waisted white pants for a relaxed and sporty summery look. While you probably don’t have Meghan’s dazzling wedding ring as an accessory, you can also pair this look with black sunglasses. Finally, if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, add a white straw hat!

Relaxed Pro at Croke Park

Meghan Markle rose to prominence as an actress in Suits, but during her first diplomatic visit as a newlywed, she proved that she, too, could show off long after her acting days were over. On a visit to Ireland with Prince Harry, Meghan designed a Givenchy suit with heels to visit Croke Park, a legendary sports ground. However, to keep the look more casual, she paired it with a white shirt and loose waves and beachy.

You can achieve this combination of sophistication and casualness from your closet. First, grab a plain white camisole or shirt. Then, put on a black blazer and stylish black pants or skinny pants. Finish the outfit off with heels like Meghan did, or add fun sneakers to make it more casual.

Colorful, youthful chic

Before Meghan and Harry stepped down as royalty, their duties included connecting with people from the UK and the Commonwealth. At the Your Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception, Meghan shone in a bright yellow midi change from Brandon Maxwell.

The shift dress and midi hems are having a moment these days, so you can easily replicate this look. Some occasions don’t call for the classic LBD – choose a dress in the brightest jewel tones you can imagine to stand out! To keep the look from going overboard, pair it with neutral heels like Meghan did.

Casual in Morocco

Meghan’s maternity fashion looks were particularly iconic. Women all over the world were inspired by her stylish outfits (a far cry from when maternity fashion made everyone appear to be wearing potato sacks). Similarly, Meghan’s outfits from her official visit to Morocco are stunning. Still, the casual look you wore to visit the Royal Equestrian Sports Federation is easily reproduced, whether you are pregnant or not.

First, grab a striped sweater. Then pair it with some simple black pants or jeans. Lastly, finish off the look with an army green jacket (Meghan got hers from J. Crew, you could even have the same one!).

Coats galore

Meghan Markle knows that coats can make or break an outfit, although they may not be as much in her wardrobe rotation now that she lives in sunny California. However, her outerwear collection is iconic enough to generate articles about her style.
